As a follow up from a successful Sport Nutrition Conference in Birmingham UK in 2007, several of the worlds leading Sports nutritionists will gather in Indianapolis on 27 May 2008 for an International Sport Nutrition meeting. This program is approved for 6 CPEUs by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Association Level II. The conference is the day before the start of the annual meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine.

Ironman World Champion Tim DeBoom to join the conference !
Two time Ironman World Champion Tim DeBoom will be part of the nutrition panel at the Sports Nutrition Conference. Tim is not only an Ironman champions but was also exercise physiology major while at the University of Iowa and therefore perfectly qualified to translate science into practice!

Conference to start with a fun run!
The Sports Nutrition conference will start with an early morning 5k fun run along the canals of Indianapolis followed by a breakfast at th Hyatt. Tim DeBoom, two time Ironman World Champion, will join us during this run which will be for all level runners. More information will be provided later.

The meeting coincides with the ACSM
The day after the sport nutrition conference the annual meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine will start. The theme of the two conferences are similar and will focus on translating science into practical applications.
